Your sources ar probably giving you good info, as the 565 is for a lower ambient temp. For FWF, the 567 is recommended. If I had to grab only 1 tube, I'd make it the 567, as it can be used it without question in both environments. I also keep a tube at the house, for plumbing fixtures, etc. LOL We a...

FWIW — The use of a restrictor will not reduce the braking force, but it will slow down the rate at which the force is applied.

Have you thought of replacing the L shaped bracket that mounts the pedal with a U shaped bracket? There appears to be an eccentric load on the angled fuse member along with the bracket itself.

Will, Lets do some simple math... In the case of a simple joint - perfectly fitted, the bond area of the two pieces would be the area of the end of a truss piece as it fits against the cap strip. For the Piet, both capstrip and truss piece are .25 x .50 inches, giving us a bond area of .125 sq. inch...

Full-size sheets, 4’ x 8’ which were then cut down for me into 2’ x 8’ for shipping. I Purchased two 1/16 inch sheets one 1/8 sheet and one 5/16 inch sheet to the best of my recollection. They were actually in metric sizes but the measurements I gave are pretty close.

Another item regarding metal work, is to draw file edges and then sand smooth with emery cloth to eliminate ALL defects on edges of piece, as these, too, will create create crack propagation points.

This type of prep must be done prior to bending.

Oops, The first drill to try should be a #54, , then stepping up in size to make main jet richer. After cooling, twist the drill with pliers, and pull out; this will leave a smooth orifice.
