Throttle cable

Post by oldbird »

Hi all

I am trying to find a throttle cable from the front seat to the carb arm. My cad drawings show a length of 51" from end to end give or take an inch ok. I couldn't find anything suitable in A/S or local marine shops (ie. Teleflex) What would you suggest?

Thanks in advance

Semih; it really depends on what you're looking for. If you want an actual aviation panel-mount throttle cable, you'll have to buy a longer one and cut it to the required length. We have a multitude of similar Bowden-style cables available to us here in the US, with a very typical one being a manual choke or throttle cable such as are available through automotive supply or tractor supply places. This one, from Summit Racing, is about $15 and is 72" long, nothing fancy but it will work.
