Elevator Covering Time Lapse Video

Post by r1200gsDave »

Hey Folks - I made a time lapse video of covering an elevator.

https://photos.google.com/share/AF1QipO ... VyUzFBYU53

I have all of the parts of the empennage covered again. I removed all the covering that I had on because it was horrible..... Second attempt much better.

Next up will be EkoFill and then paint. Then decide what part I need to work on next.

Have a great day!

What covering system are you using and do you like it so far?

He said EkoFill, which means he's using the Stewart Systems (water-based) covering system. Everything I've seen about it has been favorable, but I've never used it myself.

Hi Oscar. Yea, that's what I thought. That's the same system I used on the Corben Jr. Ace only back then it was called something else.
I really liked NO Fumes and water cleanup. It came out great for me.
For the final paint job, though, I went to Randolph and used their line of Dope for the fabric and Enamel on the metal surfaces.
