Any got an Air Camper within an hour drive of Boston? Would love to check one out close up to see if it is the plane I want to build.

Aircampers in New England?
Re: Aircampers in New England?
Well, it is a little more than an hour, but there is one at Rhinebeck, and likely will be more this weekend.
Another trip worth making would be to the Golden Age Air Museum in Bethel, PA.

The one at Old Rhinebeck is disassembled and fuselage uncovered, but its in the shop getting worked on. You could see it up close and personal. ORA is located in Rhinebeck/Red Hook, NY. Take 90 west. Just inside NY border take Taconic Parkway south. Once you are in Dutchess County take Route 199 west towards Red Hook. Turn left on Orlich Road, and then an immediate left again on Yantz Road. Drive yantz until it tees into Stone Church road, turn right. ORA will be on the right after one mile. If you go around the big bend in the road you've gone too far...if you go all the way out and tee into Route 9 you've gone even further. Work your way back. Old Rhinebeck might look like an old farm until you pull in. Thats what it was until Palen made it into an airfield in '58. Come visit...we'd love to have you. Ask for Mark or Ken, mechanics.
There is one based up in Maine now at the Maine Center for Classic Aircraft Skills also.
