The Brodhead PIetenpol Association is putting together a forum schedule for the 2018 Brodhead Pietenpol Reunion. We are requesting topics and suggestions for presenters. All forums will take place on Saturday, July 21.

I think you should see if Rob Bach would do one on some of the split gear issues and fixes he's identified if he's coming.

If there is interest in a comprehensive overview of fabric covering processes, materials, and techniques, I will volunteer to present a forum on this topic. This will be my first year to attend, so this topic may have been covered in past reunion forums. Don Brewer , tech counselor EAA # 302 , Conroe, TX

Update forum schedule for July 21.

Forums will take place between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018 in the EAA Chapter 431 club house. Schedules are tentative and subject to change.

10:00 a.m. – Building on a Shoestring by Tom Kreiner.

11:00 a.m. – How to Carve a Propeller by Dan Helsper. One hour long lecture/demonstration/discussion, based on Dan’s experiences carving his own propellers for the Pietenpol and a Wittman Tailwind.

1:00 p.m. – Aircraft Fabric Covering Systems including Polyfiber, Stewart System, Airtech, Hipec. Presented by Don Brewer.

2:30 p.m. – Split Gear Landing Gear Issues by Rob Bach.

3:00 p.m. – William Wynne

4:00 p.m. – Presentation of Master Pilot Award to Walter Cwian by Lee Stenson, FAA.
