I'm using the conventional tubular gear with shock struts. I'm looking to find the best place to buy 5 or 6 inch axel/wheel/brake assembly and a light weight steerable tail wheel. Thanks.

Thanks foe some really great info. My one question is that my struts as drawn, show them attaching to the bottom V of the gear and to the front mounting plate in one straight shot. I'd like to replace the bungee arrangement on the shock struts on my Pietenpol with springs. Any ideas ?
