I have this cylinder head that I am trying to identify, I am hoping you may be able to help. From some research, it appears it may have been used on the Model A engines used to power the Pietenpol airplanes.

Bernard Pietenpol did not die in an airplane crash. He died in old age in 1984.

We just moved a Piet last month, about 300 miles across Wisconsin. Everything fit in a standard 20’ enclosed trailer, but the rear door of the trailer caught us off guard. The top of the radiator was about 3” too tall for the door. We tried letting air out of the tires but ended up removing the land...

All I can officially say is that Brodhead Airport is a public use airport that allows camping. Things to keep in mind for folks who normally come to Brodhead only during the Pietenpol Reunion: All runways will remain open. Anyone who camps must remain clear of all runways at all times. Any format is fine...I can convert. I work in Adobe InDesign so I have to convert everything anyway. The only thing I ask is that you send photos as separate files and not embedded in Word or some other document.
