what engine fits on the engine mount?

I used too much glue on a joint and it pooled on the underside of my workpiece. Now that its dried onto my workpiece, whats the best method to remove the excess glue that is on the wood?

I am having trouble locating 1.5" or 2" structural #6 machine screws on Aircraft Spruce (for attaching my hinges to the wood frame structure). Can anyone help with a part number or link? Thanks for all the guidance so far.

Can anyone show me in the plans where it shows the hardware (screw or bolt and nuts) callout for the hardware that attaches the rudder/elevator hinges to the airframe? I dont see why not to use AN3 bolts to attached the hinges to the airframe? Any comments or thoughts?

I ended up buying a couple of new pieces of 1"x1". I hope at least one of them arrives without any twist. Thanks again for the input.

I bought my horizontal stab kit from aircraft spruce. The approximately 7.5 foot long 1"x1" trailing edge piece has a small amount of twist in it. I can remove the twist by gluing the horiz stab together and holding it clamped until it dries....but is that poor practice or an acceptable me...

I see now the angles are called "fittings" in the plans.....

As you can see on the vertical fin plans, it calls out for 3/16 plywood to be installed under "fittings". What are the "fittings" to which the plans are referencing? Does the 3/16 plywood go under the gussett or under the angle that attaches the fin to the fuselage?

I have just begun my rudder and I watched a youtube video of a builder who cut rabbets in pieces of the rudder. I would not have known to make these cuts just from looking at the plans. How would I have known to cut these rabbets by only looking at the plans?
