Brodhead Pietenpol Association

I’m near El Centro, east of San Diego. The good news is pretty much anywhere is So Cal is no problem with the RV.

Anyone got a Pietenpol in SoCal I can check out? I purchased plans and would like to look at one in person before I start building, maybe even go for a ride. I built a Vans RV-8, so now I’m looking to go low and slow

Assuming you plan to only fly day VFR, you don’t need much. 1/4 inch aluminum or stainless tubing is all you need. Connect that to some flexible 1/4 tubing and run that to the airspeed. That’s about all there is to it.
