Empannage ready for prime (again)

Post by r1200gsDave »

Hey folks I have the empannage ready for primer. I am using the Stewart System so that I'd EkoFill.

I have a paint booth set up and I will be using a Graco cordless sprayer. Really hoping that this is the finished product.

The covered tail feathers look great. Tell us how the Graco works out for you.

I have the empennage mostly primed and I am not quite ready to give the Graco a glowing report yet. However it does work pretty good.

The only issue I have with it is some drips that end up needing to be brushed out. That could be a result of makeshift paint booth being too small though to.

It does go through a quart of the good stuff pretty quick too. When I get to the wings I will make a better assessment.
