Pietenpol-List: engine downthrust

Another engine question. The Pietenpol drawing for theContinental engine mount shows zero offset in the port-starboard direction and a downthrust resulting from 9/16"difference between upper and lower mount points. Myairplane has a rudder trim tab on it but still pullsto one side so I'm thinking of tweaking the enginethrustline to see if some of that will trim outwithout doing more to the trimtab. On the downthrust, the engine mount on 41CC was builtwith only 1/8" difference between upper and lowermount points but I can add downthrust by using washerson the upper mounts. What have you other Air Camper/Continental pilotsfound with setting up your engine thrust-line?Oscar ZunigaAir Camper NX41CCSan Antonio, TXmailto: taildrags(at)hotmail.comwebsite at http://www.flysquirrel.net ________________________________________________________________________________
