Yes, there is an issue in the mail now (bulk rate is slow) and one ready to go right after Oshkosh is over. Electronic copies will be available next week on the new website.-john-> On Jul 11, 2015, at 10:25 PM, Pietn38b(at)aol.com wrote:> > Is the BPA newsletter still being published??? All manner of assistance will be provided - provided that you do not need too much assistance. Walk around, say hello to people, and you will eventually find us. You may renew your membership for one year, your friend's membership for two years, and your enemies' membership for three years. Several times each year we will torment them by sending them a newsletter; thus reminding them of how wonderful a person that you are. > > BPA members who have commented on the production schedule of the newsletter may also submit electronic copies of all the articles they have written for future issues of the newsletter at this location. > > Seminar Schedule (Tentative):> > Pietenpol Sheet Metal 11-12:00 Ken Perkins> > Model A Magic 1-2:30 Ken Perkins> > Corvair Engines 3-4:30 William Wynne> > You Ain't Nuthin' But a Grega TBA Elvis Presley > > Additionally, we will be sponsoring a Silent Auction. We welcome any items that the members have prepared and wish to donate. We will be donating all proceeds to Chapter 431 in appreciation for their efforts as hosts of the fly-in. Please contact Rob Busch to drop off your auction items when you arrive.> > Finally, in cooperation with Chapter 431 we have installed an ultra-modern anonymous complaint/suggestion management system this year. There will be a row of 'complaint booths' located near the open shelter adjacent to one of the hangar walls. Upon entering one of the booths - simply secure the door behind you. This will initiate the process. You will notice a large open 'sound catcher' at about knee level. Bend over and place your mouth over the opening. In order to ensure a high quality digital recording please get your head as far down into the opening as you can. The improved acoustics will be immediately noticeable. Then slowly present your complaint or suggestion in your normal speaking voice. DO NOT REMOVE YOUR HEAD FROM THE ACOUSTIC CHAMBER OPENING WHILE SPEAKING!! AGAIN, the more completely your head is enclosed in the acoustic chamber, the clearer your recording will be. Upon leaving the booth your complaint/suggestion will be logged with a digital timestamp. If you wish to receive credit and acknowledgement for your opinion in a future newsletter, simply use your index finger to trace your initials and BPA member number onto the urn-shaped oval touch pad located on the left wall of the booth before opening the door. Note that this feature is only available in the new generation booths. In the older booths you need to insert your finger into the blue ink reservoir and the bottom of the acoustic chamber and sign your name on the surface. Electronic sensors will record your information in either case. Several times over the weekend Data Transport Vehicles will arrive on scene. They will link to the booths and download your complaints and suggestions. We have been assured that the mental energies of our most vocal members will be carefully treated and put to good ========================; Use the ties Day ======================= - MATRONICS WEB FORUMS ======================= - List Contribution Web Site sp; > > > > > ________________________________________________________________________________Subject: Pietenpol-List: Dick Navratil's Sky Scout Project
