Subject: Pietenpol-List: Elevator spruce stripsAfter Chet Peak's book being mentioned I took a few moments last night to readthrough it again. As I am in the process of finishing up my elevators I tookconsiderable interest in the photo of a horizontal stab and elevators hangingon a wall in his book. What caught my attention was each elevator had one diagonal3/16 by 1/2 strip and three vertical strips per side. The plans call outfor only two vertical strips per side and that is how I built mine. Have abunch of builders added this third strip?
