Well friends, I got one leg this morning (Lawrenceville to Mattoon) and almost hovered in for a landing. Winds are a bit "spicey" for the kite-like Piet so I'm tied down here until the gale abates. Last I looked it was 270@12 g18. Looks like my euphoria about getting to Poplar Grove and possibly hooking up with DH might have been dashed. I might be able to get in another leg or two this afternoon or evening if things settle down.
