Hello, new to group. I'm looking for information regarding the whereabouts of ahighly modified Piet registered N13708. It was built by Meryl Neyman back inthe late 70's / early 80's and has been thru a few owners since. Last owner Icould find stated that it was sold to someone in Texas sometime around 2003. ANTSB report states that it was damaged in an off-airport landing in Lometa, TXin January 2006. You know, Veterans Day is on Wednesday 11/11 this year but if there were enoughairplanes and we did a little planning for it, a missing man formation couldbe flown prior to lighting the BBQ if we did it on Saturday 11/14. Some of us(not singling anybody out) might have to fly it at full throttle while othersof us (again, not singling anybody out GARY) might have to pull the power waaayback to let the others keep up, but it could be done. I've only flown looseformation a time or two myself, but there is no need for tight formation inthis case anyhow. It's the thought that counts. And it would be very impressiveif we did a wingman break and the break aircraft had a smoke system that wasturned on just as they pulled up out of the formation.
