Low Wing Pietenpol

Post by BlueRidge »

Hello,

Sadly, Bernard apparently died in an airplane crash, testing a new low wing design.

Has anyone built a replica of this design, or a low wing version of the Piet?

Hello,

Bernard Pietenpol did not die in an airplane crash. He died in old age in 1984.

Just out of curiosity, where did you come up with this?

Someone did build a low wing version but it was not Bernard and had nothing to do with him.
