N825GR

Post by geresh »

Long time lurker here. First trip to Brodhead in 2008, haven't missed a year since.
Started building ribs in the 9th grade, took 15 years to finish.
My Pietenpol now has 2.7 hours on it, first flight 2/25/24. So far so good.
Powered by a fire breathing Continental O-200.
Location Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Fantastic! What an accomplishment!

I do have some bad news for you though. Your lurking days are over. That beautiful machine is going to make you the center of attention every where you go.

Enjoy the spotlight and the freedom of flight.

Welcome our of the lurker bushes! And congratulations on the first flight. Real nice looking Air Camper!

Can you send some pictures to the BPA newsletter, please? I'd like to do a short article on your build. Contact me at bpa@pietenpols.org.

Thanks!

Finished the 40 hours of phase 1 testing this week. Excited to actually go somewhere in this thing.
