AN301 nails
I was looking around the other day for some official aircraft nails, the kind that aircraft spruce used to sell. They were steel nails, plated in brass to prevent corrosion, and coated in cement to help prevent them from backing out. From what I’ve found online, it seems these nails have been unavailable since Covid. Now, I know the nails aren’t necessary, and other options like staples exist, but I always liked the nails. What, if anything, is everyone using these days in place of those nails?
