look under the pictures section in the aircamper website, someone has posted a materials list. I ordered(3) 5/4 x 1 x 18ft that is just a rough guestimate. ifi have to order more it will be just short pieces thatcan be ups'ed. I have a planer, moulder, straight linesaw, large bandsaw(for resawing) and tablesaw that Iam able to cut all of the different dimensions.--- Fireman wrote:> I have been studing the flying glider manual for> some time, and now I'm ready to get this project off> the ground. Hey Fireman, Congratulations on being ready to go! I think Walt Evans has a bill of materials on the Aircamper.Org website. I forget exactly how to get to that particular part, but just browse around you'll find it in Walt's pictures I believe. It's got the sticks you need! This is a real neat website-enjoy, and GOOD LUCK!!Gary Meadows(House-painting mode...trying to sell my wife on some woodwork, let's see I need a new table saw, a miter saw....)________________________________________________________________________________

I started with the fuselage myself with a large roll of brown wrappingpaper (24" wide). taped it down on my work bench (16' long) andproceeded to lay out the fuselage full size (to later become my buildingjig)..to me, part of the fun of this building process is to study theplans, determ the amount of each size needed for that assembly andplaced my order...that way when the spruce arrived and it wasn't correctI only had myself to blame...as it turned out, the amount of spruce leftover after the fuse was completed was minimul..study the plans, determine for yourself what you need and order accordingly...it truelyis part of the building enjoyment..regardsJoeCZion, Illinoisps==end of week two rib building results in 8 ribs completed..slowly butsurelyFireman wrote:> I have been studing the flying glider manual for some time, and now> I'm ready to get this project off the ground. Well she is holding out, she wants a Jacuzzy this winter, so maybe I willhave a lateh this coming winter, I'll make her candle sticks with a newPlazma Cutting machine, NCAll kidding aside, I have to put T1-11 on walls to do and floor in my new20' x 33' workshop and that is what is keeping me from starting any bigproject. I want to put a (I Beam) down the center to hold a hoist thatrolls. Will probably do my floor myself with part cement and part wood forwood shop area.Next part of it is making T section add on to the front so I can use frontpart as a hanger.Whats this got to do with building airplanes, (Everything)ThanksGordon----- Original Message -----________________________________________________________________________________
