I made mine from 0.188 wall. May be overkill but those not so perfect landingsthat I make a lot of maybe won't bend it.--------Jerry Dotson59 Daniel Johnson RdBaker, FL 32531Started building NX510JD July, 2009now covering21" wheelsLycoming O-235Jay Anderson CloudCars propRead this topic online here:http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.p ... ___Subject: Pietenpol-List: World's Smallest Airport

I thought that everyone might enjoy seeing some Athens, GA, local aviation history. My EAA Chapter president told me about this link, and I thought that I wouldpass it on.In short, back in the late 1940's, three brothers came back from the war and hadtheir own flying circus. This video is a movie trailer for an upcoming documentarybeing filmed about the Thrasher Brothers Aerial Circus. The other linkis an article written by the son of one of the Thrasher Brothers that expandsthe story a little bit. It is a view of a time when people were thrilled by theaerial exploits of these pilots, but before the spit and polish glitzy air showsof today. Not quite the Dilhoefer Flying Circus, but still fun to see.Just a fun bit of history, and I also thought that everyone would enjoy seeingthe twin ercoupe. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2R_76LHk ... ----Semper Fi,Terry HandRead this topic online here:http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.p ... ______Date: Mon, 5 Sep 2011 16:08:19 -0700 (PDT)

Ken I believe you are close. Preliminary rigging gives 19 degrees forwardand rear throw of the stick. This gives me 30 degrees up and 25 degreesdown elevator travel. All my controls are per plans with the exception ofmy bellcrank. It is Ken Perkins design which is the same size but allowsless slack in the rear control cables.JackDSM _____
