Ken-I had good luck with using deerskin. I'm sure your local hunter could point you in the right direction to find some.Tandy leather is the last place I'd look for this kind of material since as you've said they deal mostly in the thick stuff.Usually you'll find some hole in the wall place around town that deals in leather goods, scraps and they will let you (from myfew trips out doing this) rummage thru reams of stuff they either don't want or can't use.Mike C.________________________________________________________________________________
