I used too much glue on a joint and it pooled on the underside of my workpiece. Now that its dried onto my workpiece, whats the best method to remove the excess glue that is on the wood?

I've had good luck using a small handplane. I find that I can take several short, careful strokes removing thin slices of the hardened glue until there's just a faint layer of glue left. At that point, it's a good time to declare success.

Cheers, Ken

Yeah, a block plane is great for this and things like trimming overhanging plywood, etc. Carefully going at it with a chisel works too.
