Brodhead Pietenpol Association

My son has been working on building his Pietenpol since he was 14. He is now 20 and we still have a long way to go and not much time left to get it finished. You see, he has a lot of older men who have inspired him and helped him throughout this build and a few of them are getting up there in age.. we would like to get this completed in time for them to be able to see it. His plan is to put everyones handprint that helped on the project on the tail. My father shares in Colin’s patios for flying and Colin’s hope is to have his papa fly in it when finished but health is now a fracture in getting this finished… we live in Michigan and any help on this project in order to get it finished would be greatly appreciative.. we will have parts of it at Oshkosh if anyone is willing to help with the build. Anything you can do or provide in order to make this dream a reality would mean the world to us

What stage of construction is the airplane in? A couple of photos would help others understand what might be needed in the way of materials or skills or both.
