Aircamping

Got to do a little aircamping last week. Flew down to Byrd's adventure center for their "Byrds Backcountry Flight Festival" (mostly a STOL event) and then flew to Tulsa for the 64th annual bean dinner at Airmans Acres airport. 275 miles round trip and 4.4 hours. Nothing like the 1000+ mile trip to Brodhead and back, but enough of a barnstorming adventure to give me a little buzz. The Pietenpol is a fantastic adventure machine!
