I put in the ash cross member to hold the sides together properly but left off the firewall to facililtate the installation of allthathardware up front like control sticks, rudder bar/pedal, floor scuffplates, engine controls, lines, etc. What a lifesaver that is on yourback and neck. I've even heard of some guys gluing in the floor andone side but leave one side open until all the seats, hardware, etc wasinstalled. Just a thought.
