Interesting tidbit that I thought I would share. I called Shell's customerservice center and asked for a cross reference oil to texaco's Canoupus oiland they said if you want the best, use the texaco product. So I called afew distrubutors and they say that it isn't available in less than 55 gallondrums from Texaco. I think that would be a bit much. He then said that Imight want to try Textiles companies since it is used widely for lubricatingsewing machines because it doesn't stain.interesting facts from a scroungers travels....Steve EldredgeSteve(at)byu.eduIT ServicesBrigham Young University________________________________________________________________________________

Steve- You can get the Texaco oil in plastic 5 gallon quantities by eithergoing to Texaco's web page and finding a local distributor in your area.....OR look inyouryellow pages and look under 'lubricants' 'petroleum distillates' or oil andstartcalling around. These distributors usually carry products from many, many, mfgs. soeventually you'll find one close to home that will sell you in 5 gallonincrements.Mine was $30 some bucks for 5 gals. Well worth it.
