I will get the low down on the new manual when I talk to him, too. I expect to talk to him soon. I am telling him to call collect. I think he has a number of people wanting to talk to him and he must have a huge phone bill.William Koucky________________________________________________________________________________

William,Let me know if you get in touch with Wynne before Tues. I may drive downthere Tues p.m. If he has moved, I not sure of where to look for him. WhenI met him last winter, he was partners in a co. that built Lancair IV's.They had 8 planes in varying stages of completion in that one hangar. Veryimpressive.________________________________________________________________________________

x-mac-creator="4D4F5353"Joe,I have about 1/4 of washout and have checked and rechecked alignment, but the right wing will mush and drop before the left. No clue why. Nota problem at all, I just know that's the way it is. It's a blast to slipto the left. Full rudder. Wing down low and if the right wing starts todrop a little just a couple hundred RPM picks it right up. To get intotrouble you'd really have to force it.Craig________________________________________________________________________________

When building the 3 pc wing, is it a good idea to make sure the wings weigh the same? Our chapter had a discussion about building composite aircraft and it turns out that if you build one wing in the winter and the other in the summer (no climate control) then one wing will weigh more.Joe (reading the plans stage)>From: Craig Lawler >Reply-To: Pietenpol Discussion >To: Pietenpol Discussion >Subject: Re: washout and stall>Date: Fri, 07 May 1999 14:01:58 -0500>>Joe,>>I have about 1/4 of washout and have checked and rechecked alignment,>but the right wing will mush and drop before the left. William was a super guy, aviationin the blood type. Just keep one thing in mind, he doesn't make aliving and probably barely recovers costs from his experiments with theCorvair engine, so be a little patient with him while he moves thingsaround. He will be the one carrying all the boxes, machine tools, etc.himself.________________________________________________________________________________
