The January 2000 issue of "Experimenter" magazine, published by EAA, has anarticle by Bob Whittier on "Constructing a Pietenpol." This is in the"Light Plane Heritage" section of the magazine.Bob is a long time homebuilding guy and an excellent writer. He attended theBrodhead Fly-In this last summer and tipped his hand that he had severalarticles going together on Piets. The article has lots of pictures, and isthe firstof several. In fact, Bob says: "Next month's article will discuss flyingthePietenpol and will include a list of sources for plans and literature."If you do not subscribe to "Experimenter," E-mail them atexperimenter(at)eaa.org to purchase a copy or to subscribe.
