Greg, Just by the process of covering, you'll be glueing. I rib stitched myfirst my first project, Fisher 404, ( built as U/L) because of arecommendation by my AP friend. I had alot of fun and glad to get theexperience from it.Fisher's four wings were only 9' long, and took less than a day each to doby myself.Get the Poly Fiber book for ten bucks, and it makes the whole coveringprocess easy and fun. It's a must have , to me.Just another thought, if you ever get a chance , fly above a fabriccovered plane and look at the low pressure above the wing "mounding" up thefabric on top of the wing , between the ribs. This is what they tell youwill happen in a " glue only " condition. One glue point fails and passesthe larger load to the adjoining ribs, wich will probably fail quickly, andso on. When the airfoil is lost , you can't fly anymore,,,,crunch.walt-----------------------------------------------------Click here for Free Video!!http://www.gohip.com/freevideo/-----Original Message-----

Thanks Walt.I did buy the book and the new EAA SportAviation Covering video at the show.I just started watching the video last night and I can see I'll have a smallTV and VCR by the plane when I start covering. The video seems to be well planned and gives good references to pages in thebook. The book is well written and seems to cover everything I've had questionsabout so far. I'm supposed to get quotes oncomplete covering packages from several dealers this week. I'll pass theseon to the group as soon as I get them.Greg________________________________________________________________________________
