Kevin, you look a heck of a lot better than the last time we saw you. Now we want to see Shelley looking equally rested and relaxed. Thanks for the visual update. Set up a circuit (e=ir) to run it near max capacity, make sure it doesn't blow, then again above rated capacity, make sure it does. However, many circuit breakers are only warranted until they blow THE FIRST time, then the warranty is void. Seriously.More normal way to check it, put it inline between battery terminals then shortcircuit them. Not nearly as precise, but generally lets you know that it's working. Many commercial electricians find the circuit they want to work on, byshorting it out and then finding the tripped breaker.Read this topic online here:http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.p ... ___Subject: Pietenpol-List: Re: Quick Progress Update

@Gardiner - As mentioned in my "Lessons Learned" post: land straight ahead followinga power failure on takeoff as we've been taught. Turning can lead to lossof lift, falling out of the sky, nose down, right wing low. Most of my injurieswere from hitting my right side when the aircraft struck the ground. I'll give some more thoughts on how the survivability aspects of the crash playedout. Need to spend a bit more time with the plane looking at the damage.Gary has admitted that my broken nose was from him stepping on me...Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and prayers. This is a great group andGod is great!--------Kevin "Axel" PurteeNX899KPAustin/San Marcos, TXRead this topic online here:http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.p ... ______Date: Wed, 8 Aug 2012 18:08:32 -0700 (PDT)
