Subject: Pietenpol-List: Santiago, Javier Cruz & this year---Simon and Susan McCormackfrom Tasmania, AustraliaWonderful to see your progress Santiago and I wish our FAA here still had pre-cover inspections like they usedto but like everything else...they have made cuts.I'm so thankful that we get to meet other Pietenpol builders at Brodhead from far, far away countries and that youtake the huge amount of time and effort (and money) to travel here.We were fortunate enough to meet up with Javier Cruz a few years back from Mexico. Javier flew jets for theMexican Government and was an enthusiastic Piet builder. Haven't heard from him in a few years but such a nice man.Simon and Susan will be here from Tasmania at Brodhead and Arthur Johnson (now flying Corvair Piet) from Australiawill also be attending Brodhead this summer. Arthur rode with a buddy halfway around the planet without much sleepon airliners to be at Brodhead a few years back and will be in attendance again this summer.Mike C.________________________________________________________________________________Subject: Pietenpol-List: Re: Santiago, Javier Cruz & this year---Simon and SusanMcCormac
