I am now about 15 years into my second one but expectto speed up my building progress now that I am retired. I have a Fuselage,wing ribs, tail feathers and most all the fittings and a fresh C65/85 ready togo. My Air Camper NX40772 was sold about a year after completion to a coupleof fellows in my area that enjoyed it untill it was destroyed in a Hanger firethat consumed 6 aircraft. I have already incorporated some features from Mikesaircraft with my current build as I had lots of pictures and diagrams Mikehad shared with me while he and I were building. I have had the desire to buildthe split Axel gear but think I will stick with the straight Axel mainly becauseI still have all the parts and my fuselage fittings etc. are made for thewood gear. I would like to use brakes like the disc brakes on Mikes and willhave to look through my old pictures and videos to remember how they are actuated.I think they are heel type? I will be building a little bit simpler thisbuild with no upholstery etc. I will start taking pictures of my build for thelist.
