Steve; What are you looking for in the way of prop bolts? Do you have a tapered shafthub or a flanged hub? They take different bolts... the flanged hubs generallyhave drive lugs and the bolts go through the crush plate and prop before screwinginto the threaded lugs. Those bolts require drilled heads so they can besafetied at the front. The tapered shaft hub, at least the one I had on Scout, had the bolts pointing threaded end forward, using castellated nuts and washersover the crush plate and being drilled for safety wire through the castellatednuts.I have a set of six brand-new and unflown AN6 prop bolts that were not the rightlength for my hub after I changed props. I can measure them and take a photonext time I'm at the hangar and if they'll work for you, I'll pop them in themail to you. Let me know what you need.--------Oscar ZunigaMedford, ORAir Camper NX41CC "Scout"A75 powerRead this topic online here:http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.p ... ___Subject: Pietenpol-List: Empennage "How To"

Is this list dead... Yes. Has been for years. It's the most antiquated forum softwarestill active. Is the bpa dead. Yes. I gave more rides to guys building piets last year at brodheadthan should be possible. The guys who host brodhead and the leadershipof "piets" is completely disconnected. Paper based newsletters are a thing ofthe past. These are observations only. I don't have a solution, or I'd just do it. Williamw. Has offered and been rebutted by the "majority". There's not much more that can be offered anyway. I was the safety officer forthe last a4 squadron in the navy, hell, not much more that could be done in thatjet by that time, ya know? Just accept it. In the words of the vocal majority, use your search function! Oscar you amaze me! Can you help me with understanding the attach clips?Sent from my iPadJack Textor> On Jan 18, 2015, at 11:41 AM, "taildrags" wrote:> > > Yes, Zytel. Dimensionally stable, tough, durable, self-lubricating, and canbe injection molded to nearly complete state without all of the finishing operationsthat the cast aluminum ones require. Zytel is what I use for the wingrib attach clips that I also sell. I bought the rights and molds from Ed Fishersome years ago, and the clips are used on all of Ed's designs.
