>What is the reason for the stretched Piet and who sells the plans, Orrin or >Don?>>Thanks, >Dave Dave- Other members please correct this info if in error: BernardPietenpol lengthened the Piet in the 1960's to accommodate lighter engines like the Corvair and 65 hp Continental. (My motor mount plans are dated by Pietenpol in 1966 for the Cont. 65.....available thruBernard's son Donald Pietenpol.) I think you get about 4" more in thefront cockpit, a few in the rear cockpit and some in the tail. I want tosay a total of about 9" to 10". All Piet plans and other info can bepurchased thru Donald PietenpolMike C. ________________________________________________________________________________
