Warren, Thanks for the reply. I was informed by my "mentor" of 78 yrs. of theproblems at the bottom of the struts of alot of older certified planes. Thepiet struts are about 7 1/2' and the struts that I got are at least 10', soit should be no problem. I was wondering if anyone had used that dimensionof streamlined tube.I don't want my struts snapping like uncooked pasta.thanks,walt evans-----Original Message-----
