Group,Has anyone used Piper lift struts on their Piet..... I have a chance tobuy a set of 4 nice struts off a Piper Colt, just wondering if they area little too wide and beefy for the Piet? The Piper's struts seemalmost double the size of my struts on my Taylorcraft. See attachedpic.BrianSLC-UT________________________________________________________________________________Date: Tue, 31 Jan 2012 16:13:33 -0800 (PST)

Brian, As Shad said Ed Delancey does have 4" lift struts on the front, that is the samesize as the front (shorter) Colt struts. His struts are also short enough tobe off a Colt 84". Ed has by the plans cabanes and a one piece wing, that maybe why his struts are so short. Another Piet on the field has 2" longer thanplans cabanes and 3 piece wing and his struts are 91".So I guess you could use them if you can satisfy yourself they are not rusted insideand they are long enough for your Piet.If you can get them for a good price with the fork ends, the forks alone may beworth the price.Skip ----- Original Message -----
