Like I said before=2C these old airplanes just seem to change hands and live on forever=2C and I hope that yours does=2C too.On the tire pressure issue=2C the best advice I ever got was from Mike Cuy- inflate the tires until the tire tread is just visible above the hangar floor when you're looking at the tire from the side. Scout has 6.00x6s on Cleveland wheels and brakes (from a Cessna) and it operates just right with that tire pressure. I've measured it a time or two but after getting Mikee's advice I don't bother with the gauge. It is WAY less than the 32-35 psi that others have stated. I can fly it with that much pressure but it seems to behave like it's had too much coffee... bouncy=2C jittery. Anyway=2C Scout weighs something like 640 empty=2C so it's a light airplane.Last bit: Jerry=2C after you're done testing the fuel flow with that gallon jug=2C save it for Corky.
