John,William Wynne makes motor mounts for the Piet. They are quite nice with powdercoat finish and quite light. If you contact him @ Flycorvair.com he will nodoubt tell you exactly what information he needs. BTW my engine weighs closerto 245# with mostly stock parts and a 5th main bearing. I think the model youdescribe would be an excellent candidate for a corvair. Also get some backissues of the Brodhead news letter and find William Wynne's articles about Weightand balance.--------Jon Coxwell GN-1 BuilderRecycle and preserve the planetRead this topic online here:http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.p ... ___Subject: Pietenpol-List: Landing gear springs

Hello. I am looking for an opinion regarding the use of the 06-13200 coil springon the Pietenpol gear. I have a scratch built tail dragger, single seat, 430lbs empty, 650 max. Are these springs overkill for this aircraft weight.?If so can someone recommend a lighter spring.ThanksRead this topic online here:http://forums.matronics.com/viewtopic.p ... __________
